Postby Moschops » Wed Jul 04, 2007 7:40 pm

This is an open fun event so you can ride what you like, if there are enough cruiser bruisers then you will have races on your own otherwise its all mixed in.

First aid has been covered by a couple of wonderful qualified volunteers, this will be basic so take it easy, MK General is only 5 mins away

All proffits are going to Stephen Murrays fund.

Raffel is being supported by Dialled Bikes, The Source, Groove Racing and MKBMX, should be some good goodies in the raffel.

Parking £2.00
Raffel £1.00 per strip

Race fees Expert £10.00 and novice £5.00
Regstration closes at 11.00am

Weather forcast Sat sunny all day and Sun patchy cloud.

Track is o-kay at the moment, and we will have works carried out on it on friday and saturday so it should be fast by sunday.

Yea, bring it on! Took lots of phone calls but thanks to everyone you know who you are for making it happen.

Please try and support this race if you can, i know we could have took our time but it was a spur of the moment thing with Norwich cancelling which just steam rollered so we went for it.

This race will i think be the 1st of many races in aid of Stephen, we can support them all.

look forward to seeing you all there

No worries Moschops.

I just hope it encourages people to buy more raffle tickets and boost Steve's fund!

The frame has very kindly been donated by Mike to the event, if you wish to stand a chance of winning this frame you will have to attend the race.

If every one who attends buys ten strips of raffle tickets then that will be fab, I best buy some more

Forgot to mention in my first post that there is a minimum quantity of raffle ticket strips you can buy

I beleive it should be 5 strips :D

Hell I've just built an MX20 but I'll be in for at least a tenners worth. ( the draw will be carried out by an indipendant trustworthy person I promise)
If Mike can make it maybe we could get him to draw the golden ticket.

The Source and Groove have yet to send their goodies, I'm sure it's gona be a dream raffle 8)

Just my 2 penneth worth, but I think people should be free to choose how many strips they buy (after all some people will be racing 1 or 2 classes as well, so that's £10/£20 of their money going to the fund).

Everyone knows what a good cause this is so I'm sure they will support the event by showing up and giving generously without having their arm twisted.

I quite agree Mike I was just having a laugh.

Im sure the lure of top prizes will get people looking down the back of the sofa for those extra few nuggets.

I understand a lot of you are coming a long way to support this event, and registration times are being questioned.

I'll split the difference with ya and say closes at 11.30

Althoug this is a fun event we have time constraints on Toilets and catering, as both of these are outsourced, if we fanny around doing registration all day we will go hungry and be using bushes...if you get my drift

So registration will be open till 11.30.

Hope this helps.

Even my kids are raiding their piggybanks for cash to buy tickets. I'll be buying a few quids worth too as I've been known to have some luck in MK draws  (check out the fancy leather bag hanging in my trailer with spare race gloves in it - I won the bag at MK, not the gloves!!).

Keep spreading the word folks and let's make this meeting a great success to reward the efforts that Moschops and others have put in to get things happening. Humps
