Looks Rad so far Jools but go to say still not sure about the first berm, looks like it's somet that you would ride around single file at speed but is there enough width/height/steepness to pull moves? maybe the picture doesn't do it justice?
How long until you think the club can afford to tarmac it ? Remember the longer you leave it the more the berm is gonna mellow and shrink ( i reckon the berms at Norwich lost a good foot or possibly more in height and an awful lot of their original bowled shape before they were tarmaced) so build it high and steep now.
Not a critissicm just willing you to get it all perfect first go which is not an easy job (I should know!:-)

I agree Tim, it is steeper and wider than it looks in the picture, we'll find out tomorrow about the funds for the tarmac
At this point Id really like to thank Linda Gaine from Essex County Council 2012 Legacy Fund, Carol Redgewell for getting the club the grant, EJ Taylor for working with us, and anybody else who has given us some quality input to making this happen. Weve still got a lot to do but its going in the right direstion :D

I believe you require the information "When will the track be completed, including tarmac?"
Its gonna be a week behind schedule, so it should be ready by next Saturday 23.05.09, but I'll confirm that as the week progresses.
Heres a couple more pics from the last couple of days.
